Denver Business Journal: Companies Join Growing Online Ad Sales Trend

SpotXchange gets a bit of local media coverage as the Denver Business Journal uncovers Denver-area companies that are the driving forces behind advertising's shift to online. Over the past two years, the online advertising space has seen exponential growth and industry experts believe this is just the beginning.

Our CEO, Mike Shehan, shares how our sector, online video advertising, has seen enormous growth over the last year, and SpotXchange has nearly doubled in size and opened offices in London and Sydney. While we don't disclose revenue figures, we can say we generate tens of millions annually by serving more than 600 million video ads online each month to viewers in 20 countries.

According to Mike, online video advertising is expected to grow 50 percent from $2 billion in 2011 to $3 billion this year.
