SpotXchange CEO Mike Shehan talks with Beet.TV about the growth of ad exchanges over the last several years and the more recent adoption and growth of programmatic buying and selling at the recent Beet Retreat in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
Mike explains that every publisher has some element of unsold inventory, and SpotXchange serves as an additional sales channel for them in a programmatic trade between buyers and sellers. He also mentions that because of this programmatic connection that SpotXchange enables, both sides can drive down the cost of the buy and the transaction.
