General Manager - Southeast Asia

SpotXchange is searching for an exceptional candidate for a newly created role of General Manager in the Southeast Asia region based in Singapore. The General Manager will be responsible for developing the business, building strategic partnerships and driving the commercial success of SpotXchange across the Southeast Asia through aligning with regional publishers, advertising agencies & networks and demand-side platforms (DSPs). This person will need to be a thought leader and a strategic thinker; helping to strengthen SpotXchange’s market position and capitalizing on growth of online video advertising and the shift towards programmatic trading.

The role is based in Singapore, but as we are an international company, there will be close working relationships with our US HQ, Australian and European businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the development and implementation of a business strategy that delivers our corporate goals and addresses the needs of advertising partners within the various Asian markets
  • Develop and execute an effective publisher acquisition strategy for the region that makes SpotXchange a key monetization partner to publishers and drives our access to local inventory
  • Identify, develop and manage key client relationships across the region including RTB and other buy-side partners as well as supply-side relationships
  • Raise SpotXchange’s profile across the Asian marketplace, including representing SpotXchange in industry press and on industry panels, at conferences and at our own events
  • Build, manage and lead all key corporate functions within the region including sales, publisher development and account management
  • Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of the SpotXchange offering and products and be able to articulate them effectively to the market
  • Work closely with the CEO, COO and Australia Country Director, as well as other internal stakeholders to provide leadership, guidance and support for the success of the global business
  • Regularly update the business on progress within the region. This will include revenue and P&L reporting through to an overview of active discussions and opportunities, client feedback, networking events and industry changes
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets and other regional objectives mutually set with management

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years online advertising experience demonstrating personal growth, development and responsibility
  • Experience in managing financials, forecasting and budgeting
  • Clear understanding of the Ad Trading ecosystem including RTB and the ability to articulate the benefits to both buyers and sellers

Account Coordinator

We are searching for an exceptional person for an entry-level position in our SpotXchange client services group at our headquarters in Westminster, Colorado.  Client services coordinators will work directly with advertisers and agencies to successfully manage online video ad campaigns across the SpotXchange network. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, have a strong attention to detail and possess outstanding communication skills. Successful candidates will become a part of one of the fastest growing companies in the hottest sector of online advertising. Responsibilities:

  • Assist Account Managers with execution of advertising campaigns (reporting, screenshots, optimization)

      • Monitor websites and campaigns running through the SpotXchange marketplace to guarantee brand safety for our advertisers.

      Publisher Relations Account Manager - Sydney

      SpotXchange is searching for an exceptional person for an Account Manager position in our Publisher Relations Team, based in our Sydney office.  The Publisher Relations Team manages thousands of websites across the world that provide quality video content to the SpotXchange marketplace for video advertising opportunities.  This position will be the lead on managing publishers that are based in the Asia Pacific region.  SpotXchange is growing rapidly and strong performers will have opportunities for advancement and promotion.

      Responsibilities

      • Enhance the experience of SpotXchange publishers by developing strong relationships, maximizing publisher revenue and providing exceptional customer support through the full life-cycle of the account
      • Growing business partnerships with high value and strategic publishers
      • Working closely with the Country Director on accounts for both Australia and Southeast Asia
      • Schedule monthly face to face meetings with strategic accounts (requiring travel time each month)

You will be the first point of contact for all technical support requests. You must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and respond promptly and thoroughly to customer questions and requests via email and over the phone.

            You will assist with the customer on-boarding process, developing and organizing all support documentation, knowledge bases, examples and procedures, recommending new policies and initiatives to improve customer success. You will be a key member of a small but growing team, so you need to be versatile, disciplined and enjoy taking on new challenges.

            To be successful, you will need a technical aptitude and the ability to quickly pick up new technology concepts and be self-directed to troubleshoot and recognize unique technical issues. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to manage both technical and business constituents are necessary.
